The Book of Eli (2010)

The Book of Eli (2010) is a post apocalyptic thriller starring Denzel Washington as Eli. The world has been nearly destroyed after cataclysmic disaster turns the planet into a lawless wasteland. During the onslaught of the disaster, Eli is given a vision by a higher power - this higher power charges Eli with the task of finding and guarding a book which has the power to save humankind. Eli's job is to deliver the book safely to its preordained final destination - but during his journey, Eli must fight off nearly everyone in this kill or be killed dystopian world.
